The assignment, issued by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Tarde Council of Turkey, requires the Consultant to make a detailed mapping of the potential for energy-savings based on Danish technology in an industrial textile company UTG Canicas with approximately 400 employees at Tokat Erbaa region. In terms of reporting the assignment, it must include potential Danish energy saving technologies in the industry that will be relevant for the Turkish textile sector. The starting point should be Danish technology that is already approved for use in the Turkish market, while other potential Danish technologies that would be relevant to include could also be highlighted. Necessary complementary and non-Danish technologies that would be required as part of the investment should also be included (i.e. to ensure that the report includes a full overview of the investments necessary to implement the solutions suggested).
For this assignment we provided services focused on three stages that are including site visit/survey and interview at the Erbaa Organized Zone, site visit and conduct Energy Audit (ASHRAE2 Level 1) at UTG Canicas located at the Erbaa Organized Zone, and recommendations of potential Danish companies and technologies available in Turkey and Denmark.
