The European Climate. Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) implements the LIFE programme which helps companies to bring their green products, technologies, services and processes to the market and encourages those companies to submit close-to-market projects (C2M). The C2M projects launch innovative, demonstrative solutions that offer clear environmental and/or climate benefits and are capable of being widely taken up by the society in general and the economy in particular.
The main objective of the assignment is to provide C2M services for LIFE funded projects and assist in helping a variety of actors to put their green innovative products and services on the market.
The C2M services consist of the following activities:
- Mapping of new and ongoing LIFE projects
- Provide an assistance helpdesk on close-to-market aspects based on ad-hoc requests from LIFE beneficiaires
- Business coaching and mentoring C2M activities
- C2M activities related to promotion of C2M project results, communication about C2M support, and C2M training and upskilling activities
- EU Innovation Radar questionnaires
- C2M administrative support and handover activities
