In collaboration with Danida, we were assigned to develop and implement the National Energy Management Act for buildings and industry in Vietnam. Also included in the contract was the training of energy management national rules and regulations to 2.500 energy managers.

The main objectives of the project were to promote energy savings and improve energy efficiency, and enhance public awareness about energy. This included the development of a complete curriculum and teaching program for the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).

Therefore, a national energy management handbook with easily accessible instructions was developed especially for energy managers within buildings and industry.

The purpose of the handbook and the teaching was to make energy managers ready to train other employees in energy management issues. Teaching included training, local cases, supervision and follow-up.
