LASTWIND KICK-OFF – Harnessing Wind Power in Ethiopia

On Monday 14 August, DEM A/S’ Karsten Mølgaard HOLM Holm participated in a kick-off meeting for the LastWind research project together with other project partners and members from the advisory board of the project.
In the LastWind project, DEM will contribute with strategic advice to the overall project implementation, including ensuring linkages to relevant activities to the national policy on renewable energy initiatives and the integration into the national power grid. DEM will be in close collaboration with partners based in both Denmark and Ethiopia. 🌍
The project is funded by Danida Fellowship Centre Center and lead by the AAU CROM research facility of Aalborg University. Along with those, DEM is looking forward to collaborating with Siemens Gamesa, Debre Berhan University, Hawasa University, the Ethiopian Ministry of Water and Energy, Ethiopian Electric Power and Ethiopian Electric Utility. At DEM, we are excited to participate in this project, offering our knowledge and expertise on climate, energy and policy.
